What are domain names
A domain name is much like a postal address. Computers and devices that are connected to the Internet are allocated ‘addresses’ that are made up of numbers called IP addresses. These numbers are hard for people to remember so instead, unique names are used to represent these addresses, E.G. webcreation.au - which is of course, much easier to remember!
When you register a domain name, it's unique to you. When a user enters it into a web browser they are taken directly to your website homepage, which is like an entrance or ‘shop front’ to your business. You’ll also be able to have multiple email addresses that use the same domain name, so you can assign email adresses to each of your staff or to general mailboxes such as [email protected]
Your domain is available for registration.
Your domain is already taken and can't be registered. Have another go. Try replacing adding or removing dashes or change the extension.

Secure Sockets Layer(SSL)
An SSL gives you the advantage of increasing user trust, reducing shopping cart abandonment and the new visual elements build a bond of trust that can boost customer loyalty and future revenue. SSL certificates are an additional option for our e-commerce sites (but a requirement for some payment gateways), and also a useful addition to any website that wants to give users an additional re-assurance that personal data is protected during collection.
Our industry-leading SSL’s provide 2048 bit encryption, EV (extended validation) - green bar as an optional extra and an SSL Seal - visual logo on your site.
Add an SSL certificate to your site at a cost of $270+GST per annum. This cost is for the installation and management of the SSL certificate that we use.

SSL Security as standard
Every website we create comes with 1 years hosting that includes SSL security no matter what type of website you buy. WebCreationAU, like Google, believe that security is hugely important and that everyone should have it in place. Typically companies charge hundreds of pounds for this and therefore most small business websites can't afford this important feature. Google now believes it to be so important that they are even giving priority to sites that have SSL.
Whenever you visit a website, you may notice the address bar in your browser will show a padlock symbol somewhere near it. This means the website is secure and you can see this by visiting our own website. Make sure you buy a secure website to maximise your chances of success, most companies do not provide this as standard.
